C <br /> TOWN OF MASHPEE <br /> BOARD OF APPEALS <br /> TOWN HALL, MASHPEE, MASSACHUSETTS 02649 <br /> DECISION <br /> RE : Petition of Steve Zaglakas for a Special Permit Case IPSP-85-08-056 <br /> A petition was filed by Steve Zaglakas of Cambridge , Massachusetts <br /> for a Special Permit for permission to cluster subdivide on property <br /> located on Central Road, in an R-3 zoning district in Mashpee , Massach- <br /> usetts . <br /> Notice was duly given to abutters in accordance with Massachusetts <br /> General Laws Chapter 40A. Notice was given by publication in the <br /> Falmouth Enterprise , a newspaper of general circulation in the Town <br /> of Mashpee on August 14 , 1985 and August 21 , 1985 a copy of which is <br /> attached hereto and made a part hereof . <br /> - <br /> A public hearing was held on the petition at the Mashpee Town <br /> Hall on Wednesday, August 28 , 1985 at 7 : 30 p .m. at which time the <br /> following members of the Board of Appeals were present and acting <br /> throughout : William Hanrahan, Manuel Costa and Cheryl Hawver . <br /> Mr . Snicky explained that they wished to subdivide 22 . 44 acres , <br /> 9 . 67 acres is to be open space , 449 of the total area will be in! its <br /> natural state . They propose 23 lots . This property is zoned R-2 as <br /> well as R-3 . At the hearing KennethiAnderson was concerned about the <br /> zoning, and if they would meet the requirements of' the Town for lot <br /> size . The Board explained the purpose of a cluster as opposed to a <br /> normal type subdivision. In addition to this ownership of open space; <br /> was explained . At this time the Board took this matter under advise- <br /> ment . <br /> On October 23, 1985 Mr . Umina presented the Board with a copy of <br /> the plan that the Planning Board had approved . This plan now shows 21 <br /> lots . This Board approved the plan also . <br /> • <br />
