Cushing for a Special Permit Case #SP-87-03-025 <br /> A Petition was filed by James D. Cushing of Mashpee, Massachusetts <br /> for a Special Permit for permission to operate a retail business for <br /> the sale of pets and pet supplies in a C-1 Zoning District on property <br /> located on Route 28, Deer Crossing (upper level) D23B, Mashpee, Mass- <br /> achusetts. <br /> Notice was duly given to abutters in accordance with Massachusetts <br /> General Laws Chapter 4OA. Notice was given by publication in the Falmouth <br /> Enterprise, a newspaper of general circulation in the Town of Mashpee on <br /> February 25 & March 4, 1987, a copy of which is attached hereto and made <br /> a part hereof. <br /> A public hearing was held onthepetition at the Mashpee Town Hall <br /> on Wednesday, March 11, 1987 at 7:30 p.m. at which time the following <br /> members of the Board of Appeals were present and acting throughout: <br /> William Hanrahan, Cheryl Hawver and Thomas Sexton. <br /> The Board was informed the applicant proposes to operate a full <br /> line retail pet shop which will include the sale of puppies, cats, birds, <br /> tropical fish and pet supplies. The applicant informed the Board the <br /> hours of business will be from 9:00 to 5:30 daily, will be family opera- <br /> ted with the possibility of employing one person as business expands. <br /> Thru information provided the Board learned there will be no outside <br /> storage and all animals to be sold will be located inside the premises. <br />
