BOX 1108 MASHPEE, MA 02649 DECISION RE: Petition of Thomas Cosgrove for a Variance Case #V-87-04-031 A Petition was filed by Thomas Cosgrove of Mashpee, Massachusetts for a Variance for permission to vary the front and sideline setback requirements in a R-5 Zoning District on property located on lot 2062 Shorewood Drive, (map 58, parcel 36) , Mashpee, Massachusetts. Notice was duly given to abutters in accordance with Massachusetts General Laws Chapter 40A. Notice was given by publication in the Falmouth Enterprise, a newspaper of general circulation in the Town of Mashpee on March 18 & 25, 1987, a copy of which is attached hereto and made a part hereof. A public hearing was held on the petition at the Mashpee Town Hall on Wednesday, April 1, 1987 at 7:30 p.m. at which time the follow- ing members of the Board of Appeals were present and acting throughout: William Hanrahan, Cheryl Hawver and Thomas Sexton. Recommendations were received from the Mashpee Conservation Com- mission requesting the proposed dwelling be relocated due to the dis- turbance of the inland bank that would occur if construction as ori- ginally proposed took place. Thru information recieved the Board es- tablished the topography and shape of the lot to be the legal basis for a hardship.
