Notice was given by publication in the
Falmouth Enterprise, a newspaper of general circulation in the Town
of Mashpee on March 18 & 25, 1987, a copy of which is attached hereto
and made a part hereof.
A public hearing was held on the petition at the Mashpee Town
Hall on Wednesday, April 1, 1987 at 7:30 p.m. at which time the follow-
ing members of the Board of Appeals were present and acting throughout:
William Hanrahan, Cheryl Hawver and Thomas Sexton.
Recommendations were received from the Mashpee Conservation Com-
mission requesting the proposed dwelling be relocated due to the dis-
turbance of the inland bank that would occur if construction as ori-
ginally proposed took place. Thru information recieved the Board es-
tablished the topography and shape of the lot to be the legal basis
for a hardship.
