MA 02649 <br /> DECISION <br /> RE: Petition of Brown & Clark Booksellers for a Special Permit Case <br /> #SP-87-11-118 (owner on record; Fields Point Corporation) <br /> A Petition was filed by Brown & Clark Booksellers of Mashpee, <br /> Massachusetts for a Special Permit for permission to operate a book- <br /> store in a C-1 Zoning District on property located at Mashpee Commons <br /> (map 74, parcels 20, 21 , 19A & 23) , Routes 28 & 151 , Pine Tree Rotary, <br /> Mashpee, Massachusetts. <br /> Notice was duly given to abutters in accordance with Massachusetts <br /> General Laws Chapter 40A. Notice was given by publication in the <br /> Falmouth Enterprise, a newspaper of general circulation in the Town <br /> of Mashpee on November 4 & 11 , 1987, a copy of which is attached hereto <br /> and made a part hereof. <br /> A public hearing was held on the petition at the Mashpee Town Hall <br /> on Wednesday, November 18, 1987 at 7:30 p.m. at which time the following <br /> members of the Board of Appeals were present and acting throughout: <br /> William Hanrahan, Michael Makunas and Edward Govoni . <br /> The Board was informed that the Applicant will utilize the bookstore <br /> for the retail sale of hardcover and paperback books and will have 1 ,500 <br /> square feet of floor area. <br /> Upon motion duly made and seconded the Board of Appeals voted unani- <br /> mously on November 18, 1987 to grant the Special Permit as requested. <br />
