MA 02649 <br /> DECISION <br /> FOR A SPECIAL PERMIT <br /> RE: Melvin & Marcella Bradshaw for a Special Permit Case #SP-88-05-037 <br /> (owner on record; Melvin & Marcella Bradshaw) <br /> t A Petition was filed by Melvin & Marcella Bradshaw of Mashpee, <br /> Massachusetts for a Special Permit for permission to construct and main- <br /> tain a wooden dock, two floats, steps, ramp and elevated walkway in a R-3 <br /> Zoning District on property lcoated on lot 1089, (map 106, parcel 25) , <br /> Popponesset Island Road, Mashpee, Massachusetts. <br /> Notice was duly given to abutters in accordance with Massachusetts <br /> General Laws Chapter 40A. Notice was given by publication in the Falmouth <br /> Enterprise, a newspaper of general circulation in the Town of Mashpee on <br /> April 27 & May 4, 1988, a copy of which is attached hereto and made a part <br /> hereof. <br /> A public hearing was held on the petitii on at the Mashpee Town Hall <br /> on Wednesday, May 11 , 1988 at 7:30 p.m. at which time the following members <br /> of the Board of Appeals were present and acting throughout: William Hanrahan, <br /> Michael Makunas and Richard Halpern. <br /> Comments and recommendations were received from both the Conservation <br /> Commission and the Shellfish Commission. The Board was informed the appli- <br /> cant will construct one float at the site. Opposition was received from <br /> abutters however through information received the Board ascertained only <br /> a temporary disruption to the marine environment will occur during the con- <br /> struction of the dock. Information was received that State and Federal <br /> standards for access have been met. <br />
