Board of Appeals Minutes - June 21, 1989 Page 3
Little River Boatyard cont.
Mr. Hanrahan asked about safety measures for the underground tanks.
Ms. Hawver responded that the state regulates that.
Mr. Hanrahan stated that everyone is entitled to an opinion. Everyone
is entitled to feel emotional and this whole issue is not a one-sided
issue. There we're many people on both sides of the discussion.
Ms. Hawver explained that the Board had provided time for comments
from both sides at the public hearing.
Richard Furlani, 35 Riverside Road, asked about state water tests.
Mr. Makunas replied that this was a Board of Health issue.
Mrs. Driscoll asked for information on the time table for appeals.
Mr. Hanrahan told her appeals must be filed within 20 days after the
decision is filed.
Mr. Halpern moved to adjourn the meeting. Mr. Hanrahan seconded.
All agreed.
Elinor Walsh
