• MASHPEE BOARD OF APPEALS <br />MINUTES <br />July 12, 1989 <br />The Mashpee Board of Appeals held a meeting at the Mashpee <br />Town Hall on Wednesday, July 12, 1989 at 7:30 P.M. Board members <br />present and acting throughout were: Michael A. Makunas, William <br />J. Hanrahan, Cheryl A. Hawver, Richard E. Halpern and John J. Friel. <br />Mr. Douglas S. Boyd, Building Inspector, was in attendance. <br />Kenneth N. Perry -(Owners of record: Kenneth N. and Linda <br />Perry) Request a Special Permit under Section 5.1 of the Zoning <br />By-laws for permission to change or extend a non -conforming structure <br />with the addition of a garage and mudroom in an R-5 zoning district <br />on property located at 155 South Sandwich Road (Map 21, Block 19) <br />Mashpee, Ma. <br />Members sitting: Cheryl Hawver, William Hanrahan, Michael <br />Michael Makunas <br />Kenneth Perry represented the request for the Special Permit. <br />He is requesting to build a garage and extend the path from <br />• their house about 7 feet. This will make a 28 foot set back from <br />the road. When this house was built there was a 25 foot set back. <br />Mr. Bruce Reagon (abutter) stated that he was all in favor ofit. <br />Cheryl Hawver read a memo dated July 7, 1989 from Mr. and Mrs <br />Parker direct abutters on Lot #3 reviewed the plans and have <br />no objection. <br />William Hanrahanasked if this setback was typical in this neighbor- <br />hood. <br />Mr. Perry stated that in the same development Lots #21,15, as <br />they stand now would be closer to the road than his garage. <br />William Hanrahan moved to grant the Special Permit as requested <br />seeing that there is no judgement to the intent of the by-law. <br />Michael Makunas seconded. All agreed. <br />Michael Makunas requested a copy of a certified drawing for <br />the files. A copy of the original drawing that had been signed. <br />Notice of Appeal - Francis and Carol Quinn, 35 Waterway <br />(map 105, Block 191) appeal the Building Inspector's Decision <br />regarding the expansion of non -conforming structure in an R-3 <br />• zoning district on property located at 31 Waterway (Map 105, <br />Block 192) Mashpee, MA. (Owners of record: Arnold W. and Barbara <br />M. Schindler) <br />
