MASHPEE BOARD OF APPEALS <br />Minutes <br />Wednesday, April 11, 1990 <br />The Mashpee Board.,of Appeals held a meeting at 7:34 p.m. on <br />Wednesday, April 11, 1990 at the Mashpee Town Hall. Board members <br />present and acting throughout were Cheryl A. Hawver, Michael A. <br />Makunas, Edward M. Govoni and Richard E. Halpern. <br />Robert P. McGinnis - (Owner of record: John T. and Linda T. <br />Curran) - Requests a Variance from Section 174-31 of the Zoning By-laws <br />for permission to vary the setback requirements in an R-3 zoning district <br />on property located at 11 Pembroke Drive (Map 123, Block 58) Mashpee, MA. <br />Members present: C. Hawver, M. Makunas, E. Govoni, R. Halpern <br />Mr. McGinnis represented his application. He presented plans <br />for his existing dwelling and a proposed deck addition. He explained <br />that the roof line of the house extends 6' in the front and he plans <br />to have a farmer's porch under this roof extension which would lead <br />to a deck at the side of the house. There was discussion of the <br />hardship caused by shape of the lot fronting on two streets. <br />Mr. Makunas moved to grant a variance of 3' from Uncatena Road <br />• permitting a set -back of 22' and a variance of 4' from the rear <br />lot line permitting a set -back of 11'. Mr. Halpern seconded. All agreed. <br />Vincent S. Porciello - (Owner of record: Christopher Burden TR) <br />Requests a Variance under Sections 174-31, 174-33, 174-85 and 174-86 of <br />the Zoning By-laws for permission to vary the setback requirements and <br />to build in the A.C.E.C. in an R-3 zoning district on property <br />located at 35 Wheelhouse Lane (Map 120, Block 164) Mashpee, MA. <br />Members present: C. Hawver, M. Makunas, E. Govoni, R. Halpern <br />Ms. Hawver announced that the Board had received a request from <br />the Applicant's engineer, John Slavinsky, to withdraw without <br />prejudice. <br />Mr. Halpern moved to accept the request to withdraw without <br />prejudice. Mr. Govoni seconded. All agreed. <br />James J. Lindsley - (Owner of record: Merry Meadow Enterprise, Inc.) <br />Requests a Special Permit under Section 174-25.F.2 of the Zoning By-laws <br />for permission to operate a used vehicle sales office in a C-2 zoning <br />district on property located at 22 Falmouth Road (Route 28) (Map 55, <br />Block 8) Mashpee, MA. <br />Members present: C. Hawver, M. Makunas, E. Govoni, R. Halpern <br />Is <br />
