MA 02649 g 1990 <br /> BOARD OF APPEALS <br /> DECISION <br /> FOR EXTENSION OF SPECIAL PERMIT <br /> RE: George Silva for Extension of Special Permit SP-90-82 <br /> A Petition was filed by George Silva for an extension of Special <br /> Permit 88-09-079 filed with the Town Clerk of Mashpee on December 5, <br /> 1988 granting permission to build a medical office building in an I-1 <br /> zoning district on property located at 735 Falmouth Road (Route 28) <br /> (Map 81, Block 28) Mashpee, MA. Owner of record: George J. Silva TR, <br /> Faiman-Silva Realty Trust. <br /> Notice was duly given to abutters in accordance with Massachusetts <br /> General Laws Chapter 4OA. Notice was given by publication in The <br /> Enterprise, a newspaper of general circulation in the Town of Mashpee <br /> on October 8 and October 15, 1990, a copy of which is attached hereto <br /> and made a part hereof. <br /> A public hearing was held on the Petition at the Mashpee Town Hall <br /> on Wednesday, October 24, 1990 at 7:30 p.m. at which time the following <br /> members of the Board of Appeals were present and acting throughout: <br /> Cheryl A. Hawver, Michael A. Makunas and William J. Hanrahan. <br /> Dr. Silva reviewed plans for a medical office building which he <br /> would occupy as well as three other tenants. He informed the Board <br /> that he would require commitments from tenants before building and <br /> hoped this would be within two years. He explained that some of the <br /> family doctors using the Falmouth Hospital space at Mashpee Commons <br /> would eventually want individual space in his building. <br /> Elias McQuaid, Health Agent, said that the Board of Health is in <br /> favor of the extension and noted that the building would now be connected . <br /> to Town water and there would be no restriction on the number of employees. <br />
