MASHPEE BOARD OF APPEALS Minutes Wednesday, May 14, 1997 The Mashpee Board of Appeals held a meeting on Wednesday, May 14, 1997 at 7:30 PM at the Mashpee Town Hall. Board Members present were Ed Govoni, Chairman, James E. Regan, III, Vice Chairman, Cheryl A. Hawver, Clerk and Associate Members Michael A_ Makunas, Robert Nelson and James Dorgan. Associate Member Richard T. Guerrera was absent. Building Inspector William Hauck was in attendance. Dunkin'Donuts- Request for continuation pending design review. Members present: E. Govoni, J. Regan, M. Makunas, R. Nelson, J. Dorgan Mr. Govoni moved to grant continuance until May 28, 1997. Mr. Regan seconded. All agreed. Cane Cod Coffee-Coffee Roasters Outlet - Requests a Special Permit under Section 174-25.E.1 of the Zoning By-laws for permission to operate a retail store on property located in a C-2 zoning district at 348 Main St. (Map 36, Block 51)Mashpee, MA. Owner of record: Demos Young TR. Special Permit 94-34 granted for this use has expired. Members sitting: E. Govoni, J. Dorgan, R. Nelson J. Regan stepped down for this hearing. E. Govoni moved that the Special Permit under Section 174-25.E.1 be granted as Special Permit 94-34 granted for this use has expired. J. Dorgan seconded. All agreed. Harwich Concrete Block- Requests a Special Permit under Sections 174-25.E.8 and 174-5 LC of the Zoning By-laws to allow the outside storage of building materials and alteration to an existing sign on property located in a C-2 zoning district at 544 Main St. (Map 20, Block 24) Mashpee, MA (Owner of record: Christopher S. Cushman, TR.J.W.F. Trust). Members present: E. Govoni, J. Regan, C. Hawver, M. Makunas, R. Nelson, J. Dorgan A representative for Harwich Concrete Block appeared and explained he had not yet been before Design Review. He then requested a continuance until May 28, 1997. J. Regan moved to grant continuance. M. Makunas seconded. All agreed.
