Board of Appeals Minutes-February 11, 1998 4. <br /> Members sitting: E. Govoni, C. Hawver, J. Regan <br /> Attorney Jeremy Carter represented the applicant and explained that the proposed <br /> apartment is for mother-in-law use with a kitchen. He said the space has been approved <br /> and will not exceed the already permitted uses by the Board of Health. He stated that <br /> there is no external use of 2-family use. Mr. Govoni read a letter from an abutter <br /> questioning the designation as a 24"y use. He explained that the By-law wording <br /> required this language. <br /> Mr, Govoni moved to grant the Special Permit under Section 174-17 and 174-25.A.8 for a <br /> mother-in-law apartment for use of the family members only. He found that it conformed <br /> to the by-law requirements and would not be a detriment to the neighborhood. Ms. <br /> Hawver seconded. All agreed. <br />{ Attorney Carter mentioned that the dock plan submitted has been revised by turning the <br /> float. Mr. Govoni moved to take the dock petitions under advisement pending receipt of <br /> new plans and conservation approval. Ms. Hawver seconded. All agreed. <br /> Cane Cod Ventures-Jiffy Lube <br /> Members sitting: E. Govoni, C. Hawver, M. Makunas <br /> Mr. Regan stepped down for the discussion. Mr. Govoni explained that this was an <br /> administrative action, He said the Board had agreed to invoke Chapter 593 for a traffic <br /> safety study but the Board has now reviewed all of the material and find that the issues <br /> exceed what would be covered in an independent traffic safety study. He moved to cancel <br /> plans for the study and make a discretionary referral of the project to the Cape Cod <br /> Commission as a Development of Regional Impact. Ms. Hawver seconded. All agreed. <br /> Mr. Govoni moved to continue the hearing to April 22, 1998. Ms. Hawver seconded. All <br /> agreed. <br /> Minutes -Ms. Hawver moved to accept the Minutes of January 14, 1998. Mr. Govoni <br /> seconded. All agreed. <br /> Bonds -Mr. Govoni moved to release the balance of the bonds for Cooke's Restaurant <br /> and A. G. Realty Trust. Ms. Hawver seconded. All agreed. <br /> Mr. Govoni moved to adjourn the meeting at 9:30 P.M. <br /> Elinor <br /> sGf/aI14141-1 — <br />
