The initial terms of office <br /> shall be one for one year , two for two <br /> years and two for three years. There after <br /> members shall be appointed annually to <br /> replace those members whose terra has <br /> expired. . <br /> j <br /> Section 2. 16.2 Organization <br /> i <br /> The Shellfish Commission shall annually <br /> organize at its first meeting of each <br /> fiscal year by the selection of chairman , <br /> vice—chairman and secretary who shall serve <br /> for one year . <br /> Section 2. 16.3 Powers and Duties <br /> The Shellfish Commission shall advise and <br /> assist the Shellfish Constable and the <br /> Board of Selectmen It shall make <br /> recommendations relating to shellfishing in <br /> the Town and shall act in an advisory <br /> Icapacity to all town Boards, Committees or <br /> it officials seeking assistancse from the <br /> Commission . The Board of Selectmen shall <br /> designate as applicable , members of the <br /> Shellfish Commission upon their request as <br /> Deputy Shellfish Constables to serve <br /> without compensation . <br /> I <br /> Section 2. 16.4 Associate Members <br /> The Selectmen shall annually appoint three <br /> or more Associate members to the Shellfish <br /> Commission for one year terms. They shall <br /> have voting power upon designastion by the <br /> Commission Chairman in the absence of any <br /> rsegular commission member at any meeting <br /> of the commission .
