Article 3.2 Transportation Regulations <br /> Section 3.2. 1 Reimbursement . When any employee , <br /> officer , member of any unpaid board or <br /> committee , or member of the Board of <br /> Assessors, travels within or outside <br /> the Town of Mashpee , or when any <br /> member of a paid elected Board travels <br /> outside the Town of Mashpee , on <br /> business connected with official duties, j <br /> he/she shall be entitled to receive a <br /> reimbursement on the following basis: s <br /> if travel is by rail , water , bus, plane !` <br /> or any public transportation , the amount R <br /> of economy rate fare ; if travel is by <br /> private motor vehicle , the rate of 21 cents ! <br /> per mile of travel . Reimbursement of <br /> travel expenses shall be made only with <br /> prior approval of the travel by the r <br /> department head. <br /> s <br /> Section 3.2.2 Requests for reimbursement shall be made <br /> on forms approved by the Board of <br /> Selectmen , and shall include at a , <br /> minimum the following: date of travel , <br /> destination , purpose , odometer readings i <br /> at start and end of trips, and signature <br /> of traveler . The Board of Selectmen is R, <br /> authorized to prepare a standard mileage <br /> schedule between the Town and other i <br /> communities which shall be the basis of <br /> reimbursement for travel to points outside <br /> of the Town of Mashpee . (Amended at <br /> Special Town Meeting, November 9, 1981 � <br /> and approved by Attorney General February <br /> 16, 1982. ) <br /> Section 3.2.3 Transportation of Labor . Where it is <br /> necessary to transport by automobile or <br /> truck any laborers employed by any <br /> department of the town : <br /> a. The expense incurred shall be ; <br /> charged in as "Transportation of <br /> Labor . " <br /> b. All charges for transportation of <br /> labor shall be made on the basis of <br /> so much per hour or per day for <br /> the actual time consumed by the <br /> conveyance in transporting the <br /> labor . <br /> I <br /> - v <br /> -33- <br />
