Th_ Treasurer is authorized to engage counsel at the i expense of the Town for the purpose of prosecuting any action at law under the provisions of the Public Statutes relating to suits on bonds, notes or other securities. Section 2. 2.2 Term of Office . Beginning in the year 19649 the office of the Treasurer and Tax Collector :hall run for coterminous terms, and the term of the Treasurer , elected in 1959, shall end in 1971 ..
