Labute: <br /> I regret that I must return the amendments to the general <br /> by-laws adopted under article 25 of the warrant for the Mashpee <br /> fall annual town meeting that convened on October 2, 1995, with <br /> the enclosed disapproval of this Office. <br /> This article, as amended on town meeting floor, provides as <br /> follows : "Any municipal employee for whom a term of office is <br /> not specified by these bylaws or by massachusetts general law <br /> shall be appointed for an indefinite period of time, subject to <br /> removal for cause.
