� I <br /> II <br /> APPOINTMENT FORMS !' I <br /> Chapter 37-8, Article 1, 5-1 of the Town By-laws was amended <br /> October, 1992, to read: <br /> "Any person appointed by the Board of Selectmen to any L. <br /> position shall be sworn to the faithful performance of his duties by the Town <br /> Clerk prior to assuming the position. Once a person is so sworn it shall not <br /> be necessary in any subsequent year where the same person is reappointed <br /> to the same position to again be sworn". <br /> Persons requiring an appointment form are as follows: committee <br /> appointments, change in position/title/length of service and those persons <br /> requiring certifications i. e. CPR, lifeguarding, etc. <br /> :i <br /> Yearly each committee/department would forward a list of continuing <br /> personnel and a list of those newly appointed.
