'FORM MASS. 793 933336�'a3 <br />9-67 <br />ORDER FOR BURIED CABLE LOCATION <br />By the Board of Selectmen <br />of the Town of Niashpee, Massachusetts <br />ORDERED: <br />That permission be and hereby is granted the NEW ENGLAND TELEPHONE: AND TELEGRAPH. <br />+nr. <br />COMPANY to place and maintain buried cable, manholes, handholes, and pedestals with the wires and cables, <br />therein, markers and other fixtures in or under the surface of the following public way or ways, as requested in <br />petition of said Company dated the aineth day of January - 19.74 <br />RED BROOK ROAD Buried Cable beginning at the intersection of <br />Old Ockway Road and Red Brook Road thence <br />running in a westerly direction for approxi <br />3,6251 and ending at the intersection of <br />Red Brook Road and I'lonomoscoy Road.;k. <br />RED BROOK RQAD Three (3) road crossings : <br />Substantially:as shown on plan marked—N. Jan..91..2974.............. filed with said petition. <br />Also that permission be and hereby is granted said NEW ENGLAND TELEPHONE AND TELEGRAPH <br />COMPANY to place and maintain underground laterals, manholes, handholes, pedestals, cables and wires in thea; <br />above or intersecting public ways for the purpose of making connections with such poles and buildings as it may . <br />desire for distributing purposes. <br />The foregoing permission is subject to the following conditions: <br />: 1. The laterals, manholes, handholes, pedestals, and markers shall be of such material and construction and'ail <br />work done in such manner as to be satisfactory to such municipal officers as may be appointed to the,, <br />supervision of the work, and a plan showing the location of buried cable laid shall be filed with the Town:' <br />when the work is completed q r <br />as <br />t: <br />2. Said Company shall indemnify and save'the. Town harmless against all'damages costs and expense: <br />whatsoever to which the Town may be subjected in consequence of the acts or neglect of siidCompany',! <br />its agents or servants, or in any manner arising from the rights and privileges granted it by the Towfi.— t <br />3. In addition said Company shall before a public way is disturbed for the placing of its buried cable, ;' <br />execute its bond in a penal sum of Five Thousand Dollars ($5,000) E (reference being had to the bond' <br />already on file with said Town) conditioned for the faithful performance of its duties under this permit"" <br />4. Said Company shall comply,,with the requirements, of existing by-laws and such as may hereafter be:. <br />adopted governing the construction and maintenance,of buried cable, conduits and wires so far as the' <br />same are not inconsistent with the laws of the Commonwealth <br />I hereby certify that the foregoing order was adopted at a meeting of the Board of.
