March 12, 1484
TO: SELECTMEN' S OFFICE
TOWN OF MASHPEE
FROM: PETER EDGERLY
VICE CHAIRMAN_, SCHOOL COMMITTEE I
SUBJECT: RESIGNATION
It is with deep regret that I tender my
resignation as Vice Chairman of.__the School Committee,
effective March 12, 1984 .
My association with Dr. Nicholson, Super-
intendent of Schools and Dr. Elizabeth Petti Chair-
woman - both dedicated, astute, and knowledgeable j
individuals - has been most gratifying. The members
of the School Committee should be congratulated for
their tireless efforts on behalf of the school.
Last, but not least, Charles Liberty, Principal, r
whose efforts have been tremendous, should be commend-
ed.
I feel that a future elected member of the
School Committee should be a parent with children en-
rolled in the system. This way there is a sincere
and closer interest in all activities and organization
of the school.
My tour of duty has been most enlightening
and rewarding. I also wish to thank the voters who
elected me to office. I am definitely a wiser person
for serving.
Sin. rel ',
f
._Peter--Edgerly
I
cc: -Cape Cod Times
Falmouth Enterprise
Dr. Joseph Nicholson ` ,
Dr. Elizabeth Petti V
Mr. Charles Liberty
MAR 12 1984
4
*AA-:`kPkE 'SOWN CLERK
