ORDER FOR JOINT OR IDENTICAL POLE LOCATIONS <br /> In Board of Selectman of the Town of MASHpEE Massachusetts. <br /> Notice having been given and a public hearing held, as provided by law, <br /> IT IS HEREBY ORDERED: <br /> that the COMMONWEALTH ELECTRIC COMPANY and <br /> NEW ENGLAND TELEPHONE AND TELEGRAPH COMPANY <br /> be and they are hereby granted joint or identical locations for and permission to erect and maintain poles and their <br /> respective wires and cables to be placed thereon, together with such sustaining and protecting fixtures as said <br /> Companies may deem necessary, in the public way or ways hereinafter referred to, as requested in petition of said <br /> Companies dated the 27th day of April 19 82 . <br /> All construction under this order shall be in accordance with the following conditions:— <br /> Poles shall be of sound timber and reasonably straight,and shall be set substantially at the points indicated upon <br /> the plan marked Plan No. 9014 DatedApril 27, 1982 <br /> filed with said petition. There may be attached to said poles by said NEW ENGLAND TELEPHONE AND <br /> TELEGRAPH COMPANY not to exceed 40 wires and 4 cables. <br /> and by said COMMONWEALTH ELECTRIC COMPANY necessary wires,cables and fixtures <br /> and all of said wires and cables shall be placed at a height of not less than 18 feet from the ground at highway <br /> crossings,and not less than 16 feet from the ground elsewhere. <br /> The following are public ways or parts of ways along which the poles above referred to may be erected, and the <br /> number of poles which may be erected thereon under this order:— <br /> LOWELL ROAD, from Great Hay Road northerly & easterly ---- TWO (2) POLES <br /> GREAT HAY ROAD, from Old Barnstable-Falmouth Rd. northerly -----THREE (3) POLES <br /> OLD BARNSTABLE-FALVIOUTH RD., from Great Hay Rd. southerly ---- ONE (1 ) POLE <br /> THIS FORM SHOULD BE FILLED OUT AND SIGNED <br /> BY THE SELECTMEN AND DELIVERED TO THE <br /> TOWN CLERK WHO WILL FILE SAME IN HIS BOOK <br /> OF LOCATION RECORDS AS SPECIFIED IN <br /> CHAP. 509P ACTS OF 1911 . <br /> Also that permission be and hereby is granted to each of said Companies to lay and maintain underground <br /> cables,conduits,wires, and necessary equipment in the above or intersecting public ways for the purpose of making <br /> connections with such poles and buildings as each may desire for distributing purposes. <br /> I hereby certify that the foregoing order was adopted at a meeting of the Board of Selectmen of the Town of <br /> . . . .Mashpee . , , , , , , , , .
