.., <br /> 157115 <br /> Mass.Form 553 <br /> 9-81 ORDER FOR CONDUIT LOCATION <br /> In Board of Selectmen of the Town of Mashpee Massachusetts. <br /> ORDERED: <br /> That permission be and hereby is granted the NEW ENGLAND TELEPHONE AND TELEGRAPH <br /> COMPANY to lay and maintain underground conduits and manholes, with the wires and cables to be placed <br /> therein, under the surface of the following public way or ways as requested in petition of said Company <br /> dated the 1st day of June 19 82 <br /> ROCK LANDING ROAD ONE (1) PEDESTAL <br /> THREE (3) OPEN CUT ROAD CROSSINGS <br /> r <br /> Proposed buried cable beginning at northerly side of <br /> shore Dr. West intersection at end of proposed road <br /> crossing and running northerly 1220' to proposed <br /> pedestal and road crossing at Uncle Percy's Way <br /> intersection thence running 860' northerly to private <br /> property large pedestal, thence changing to 2 ducts <br /> conduit and running northerly 225' thence westerly <br /> and crossing road in a 50' open cut running northerly <br /> again thence the 2 ducts continues northerly 50' to <br /> tie in with existing Telephone Company ducts ending. <br /> Substantially as shown on plan marked—N. E. T. & T. CO., No. 82-530 Dated 6-1-82 <br /> filed with said petition. <br /> Also that permission be and hereby is granted said NEW ENGLAND TELEPHONE AND TELE- <br /> GRAPH COMPANY-to lay and maintain underground conduits, manholes, cables and wires in the above or <br /> intersecting public ways for the purpose of making connections with such poles and buildings as it may desire <br /> for distributing purposes. <br /> The foregoing permission is subject to the following conditions: <br /> 1. The conduits and manholes shall be of .such material and construction and all work done in such manner <br /> as to be satisfactory to the Board of Selectmen or to such officers as it may appoint to the supervision of the <br /> work, and a plan showing the location of conduits constructed shall be filed with the Town when the.work is <br /> completed. <br /> ,yytg„ met" <br /> 3. <br /> d"and med"fiee o az&e orae uN�� g ��M - <br /> 3. Said Company shall indemnify and save the Town harmless against all damages, costs and expense <br /> whatsoever to which the Town may be subjected in consequence of the acts or neglect of said Company, its <br /> agents or servants, or in any manner arising from the rights and privileges granted it by the Town. <br /> 4. In addition said Company shall, before a public way is disturbed for the laying of its wire or conduits, <br /> execute its bond in a penal sum of Five Thousand Dollars ($5,000) (reference being had to the bond already <br /> on file with said Town) conditioned for the faithful performance of its duties under this permit. <br /> 5. Said Company shall comply with the requirements of existing by-laws and such as may hereafter be adopted <br /> governing the construction and maintenance of conduits and wires, so far as the same are not inconsistent with <br /> the laws of the Commonwealth. <br /> I hereby certify that the foregoing order was adopted at a meeting of the Board of Selectmen of the Town <br /> of.................MASHPEE.....................Massachusetts, held on the..........2.3.r'.11.................day of......June.. .......19 82 <br /> .�--.. ... a, ...... <br /> Clerk of Selectmen. <br /> (OVER) <br />
