.., 157115 Mass.Form 553 9-81 ORDER FOR CONDUIT LOCATION In Board of Selectmen of the Town of Mashpee Massachusetts. ORDERED: That permission be and hereby is granted the NEW ENGLAND TELEPHONE AND TELEGRAPH COMPANY to lay and maintain underground conduits and manholes, with the wires and cables to be placed therein, under the surface of the following public way or ways as requested in petition of said Company dated the 1st day of June 19 82 ROCK LANDING ROAD ONE (1) PEDESTAL THREE (3) OPEN CUT ROAD CROSSINGS r Proposed buried cable beginning at northerly side of shore Dr. West intersection at end of proposed road crossing and running northerly 1220' to proposed pedestal and road crossing at Uncle Percy's Way intersection thence running 860' northerly to private property large pedestal, thence changing to 2 ducts conduit and running northerly 225' thence westerly and crossing road in a 50' open cut running northerly again thence the 2 ducts continues northerly 50' to tie in with existing Telephone Company ducts ending. Substantially as shown on plan marked—N. E. T. & T. CO., No. 82-530 Dated 6-1-82 filed with said petition. Also that permission be and hereby is granted said NEW ENGLAND TELEPHONE AND TELE- GRAPH COMPANY-to lay and maintain underground conduits, manholes, cables and wires in the above or intersecting public ways for the purpose of making connections with such poles and buildings as it may desire for distributing purposes. The foregoing permission is subject to the following conditions: 1. The conduits and manholes shall be of .such material and construction and all work done in such manner as to be satisfactory to the Board of Selectmen or to such officers as it may appoint to the supervision of the work, and a plan showing the location of conduits constructed shall be filed with the Town when the.work is completed. ,yytg„ met" 3. d"and med"fiee o az&e orae uN�� g ��M - 3. Said Company shall indemnify and save the Town harmless against all damages, costs and expense whatsoever to which the Town may be subjected in consequence of the acts or neglect of said Company, its agents or servants, or in any manner arising from the rights and privileges granted it by the Town. 4. In addition said Company shall, before a public way is disturbed for the laying of its wire or conduits, execute its bond in a penal sum of Five Thousand Dollars ($5,000) (reference being had to the bond already on file with said Town) conditioned for the faithful performance of its duties under this permit. 5. Said Company shall comply with the requirements of existing by-laws and such as may hereafter be adopted governing the construction and maintenance of conduits and wires, so far as the same are not inconsistent with the laws of the Commonwealth.
