WAMPOM U3 <br /> sm ORDZR FOR CONDUIT LOCATION <br /> In Board of Selectmen of the Town of MASHPEE Massachusetts. <br /> 932556 <br /> ORDERED: <br /> That permission be and hereby is granted the NEW ENGLAND TELEPHONE AND TELEGRAPH <br /> COMPANY to lay and maintain underground conduits and manholes, with the wires and cables to be placed <br /> therein, under the surface of the following public way or ways as requested in petition of said Company <br /> dated the 24th day of SEPT. 19 87 <br /> GREAT NECK ROAD PROPOSED: <br /> (FISH HOUSE RD. ) <br /> 1 DUCT BEGINNING AT EXISTING TELEPHONE BURIED <br /> CABLE RUNNING EASTERLY APPROX. 3' BEFORE BEING <br /> DRIVEN ACROSS ROAD APPROX. 30' THEN APPROX. 5' <br /> TO POLE 3/46. FROM POLE 3/46 SOUTHERLY, BURIED <br /> CABLE RUNNING APPROX. 45' BEFORE 1 DUCT CROSSES <br /> FISH HOUSE ROAD IN APPROX. 22' OPEN CUT THEN <br /> APPROX. 5' BURIED CABLE AND APPROX. 10' TURNING <br /> EASTERLY INTO FISH HOUSE RD. <br /> Substantially as shown on plan marked—N. E. T. & T. CO . No. 87-637 Dated 9-24-87 <br /> filed with said petition. <br /> Also that permission be and hereby is granted said NEW ENGLAND TELEPHONE AND TELE- <br /> GRAPH COMPANY to lay and maintain underground conduits, manholes, cables and wires in the above or <br /> intersecting public ways for the purpose of making connections with such poles and buildings as it may desire <br /> for distributing purposes. <br /> The foregoing permission is subject to the fullowing conditions <br /> I The conduits and manhole shall be of such material and construction and all work done in such manner <br /> as to be satisfactory to the Board of Selectmen or to such of licen a it away appoint to the supervision of the <br /> work. and a pian showing the )option of conduits constructed shall be filed with the Town when the work is <br /> completed. <br /> 2. In every underground main line conduit constructed by acid Company hereunder one duct not less than three <br /> inches la diameter shalt be reserved and maintained free of chair for the use of the fire and police telephone <br /> and telegraph signal rues belonging to the Town and used by it exclusively for municipal purposes. <br /> J. Said Company AM indemnity and save the Town harms against all damages, costs and expense <br /> whatsoever to which the Town may be subjected in consequence of the ams -,r neglect of said Company, its <br /> agents or servants, or many manner arising from the rights and privileges granted it by the Town. <br /> a. In addition said Company shall, before a public way is disturbed for the laying of its wise or conduits. <br /> execute its bond in a penal win of Five Thousand Dollars (55.000) inference being had to the bond already <br /> on lik with aid Town) conditfomil for the faithful performance of its duties under this permit. <br /> 5. Said Company shall comply with the requirements of existing by-laws and such as may hereafter be adopted <br /> governing the construction and maintenance of conduits and wires, so fr,r as the same are not inconsistent with <br /> the laws of the Commonwealth. <br /> 6 .
