/0- 0/y <br /> Mass Form 553 <br /> "I ORDER FOR CONDUIT LOCATION <br /> In Board of Selectmen of the Town of MASHPEE - Massachusetts. 932047 <br /> ORDERED: <br /> That permission be and hereby is granted the NEW ENGLAND TELEPHONE AND TELEGRAPH <br /> COMPANY to lav and maintain underground conduits and manholes, with the wires and cables to be placed <br /> therein, under the surface of the following public way or ways as requested in petition of said Company <br /> dated the 11 day of AUGUST 1994 <br /> GREAT NECK ROAD PROPOSED: APPROX. 121' OF CONDUIT <br /> ONE (1) DUCT BEGINNING AT P 3/101 CROSSING THE ROAD (DRIVEN) WESTERLY <br /> APPROX. 42' TO POINTO , TWO (2) DUCTS TURNING AND CONTIMING SOUTHERLY <br /> APPROX. 79' TO AN EXISTING MANHOLE #3103 LOCATED NEAR TRACEY LANE. <br /> Approved on September 26, 1994 by the Mashpee Board of Selectmen <br /> with the stipulation that there will be a Mashpee Police Detail. <br /> Substantially as shown on plan marked—N. E. T. At T. CO., No. 94-558 Dated 8-11-94 <br /> filed with said petition. <br /> Also that permission be and hereby is granted said NEW ENGLAND TELEPHONE AND TELE- <br /> GRAPH COMPANY to lay and maintain underground conduits, manholes, cables and wires in the above or <br /> intersecting public ways for the purpose of making connections with such poles and buildings as it may desire <br /> for distributing purposes. <br /> The foregoing permission is subject to the following conditions: <br /> I. The conduits and manholes shall be of such material and construction and all work done in such manner <br /> as to be satisfactory to the Board of Selectmen or to such officers as it may appoint to the supervision.of,the <br /> work, and a plan showing the location of conduits constructed shall be filed with the Town when the work is <br /> completed. <br /> 2. In every underground main line conduit constructed by said Company hereunder one duct not less than three <br /> inches in diameter shall be reserved and maintained free of charge for the use of the fire and police telephone <br /> and telegraph signal wires belonging to the Town and used by it exclusively for municipal purposes. <br /> 3. Said Company shall indemnify and save the Town harmless against all damages, costs and expense <br /> whatsoever to which the Town may be subjected in consequence of the acts or neglect of said Company, its <br /> agents or servants, or in any manner arising from the rights and privileges granted it by the Town. <br /> 4 in addition said Company shall, before a public way is disturbed for the laying of its wire or conduits, <br /> execute its bond in a penal sum of Five Thousand Dollars ($5,000) (reference being had to the bond already <br /> on file with said Town) conditiooed for the faithful performance of its duties under this permit. <br /> 5.
