RIVATE WAYS In Board of Selectmen of the Town of Mashpee Massachusetts,; ORDERED: That the NEW ENGLAND TELEPHONE AND TELEGRAPH COMPANY and NEW BEDFORD GAS A14D EDISON LIGHT,COMPANY be and they are hereby granted joint or identical locations for.and permission to maintain poles and their respective wires and cables to be placed thereon, together with such sustaining and protecting futures as said Companies may deem necessary, in the public way or ways hereinafter referred to which were being main- tained in, along and across such private way or ways at the time of its or their acceptance as a public way or-ways, as requested in petition of said Companies dated the 8th day of April 19 80 All construction under this order shall be in accordance with the following conditions:— Poles shall be of sound timber, and reasonably straight, and shall be set substantially at the points indi- cated upon the plan marked—N.E. T.& T. CO., No. 80-24 Dated 4-8-80 filed with said petition. There may be attached to said poles by said NEW ENGLAND TELEPHONE AND TELEGRAPH COMPANY not to exceed 40 wires and .4 cables and by said NEW BEDFORD GAS AND EDISON LIGHT COMPANY not to exceed necessary wires., cables and. fixtures and all of said wires and cables shall be placed at a height of not less than 18 feet from the ground at highway crossings, and not less than 16 feet from the ground elsewhere. The following are the public ways or parts of ways along which the poles above referred to may be maintained, and the number of poles which may be maintained thereou under this order: CENTRAL ROAD a/k/a GREAT NECK RD. & MASHPEE HAQUOIT RD4, TWENTY SEVEN (27) POLES northerly of Rotary Also that permission be and hereby is granted to each of said Companies to lay and maintain under- ground laterals, cables and wires in the above or intersecting public ways for the purpose of making con- nections with such poles and buildings as each may desire for distributing purposes.
