SPECIAL TOWN MEETING <br /> JANUARY 29, 1975 <br /> ARTICLE 25 : To see if the Town will vote the following as a <br /> By-law: "It shall be unlawful to install a mechanical pro- <br /> tection device that is automatically keyed to and/or listed <br /> to the Mashpee Fire Department and Police Department; all <br /> such devices installed before the effective date of this <br /> section shall be removed within sixty ( 60) days. Mechanical <br /> protection devices shall be defined as: An electrically <br /> operated instrument composed of sensory apparatus and related <br /> hardware which automatically spends over regular telephone <br /> lines, by direct connection or otherwise, a pre-recorded <br /> voice alarm upon receipt of a stimulus from the sensory <br /> apparatus that has detected a physical force or condition <br /> inherently characteristic of a fire or unauthorized intrusion." <br /> j <br /> SUBMITTED BY THE FIRE DEPARTMENT AND APPROVED BY THE POLICE <br /> DEPARTMENT. <br /> ACTION: Motion duly made and seconded to accept Article 25 <br /> as read.
