Finance Committee shall be filled as provided in Massachusetts General Laws , Chapter 41 , Icection 11 . Section 2 . L,. 7 Election . Members of the Finance Committee =hall be elected by Australian Ballot at the annual election of town officers commending with the Annual Election of 1976 . Article 2 .7 Planning Boards i Section 2.7. 1 Membership . The voters of the Town shall choose by ballot , beginning with the annual election in March of 1960 , a Planni.ng Board to consist of five members under the provisions of General taws, Chapter 41 , Section SIA; provided that at the 1960 election members of the Planning Board shall be elected, one for a. term of one year , one for a. term of two years , one -for a. term of three years, one for a term of four years, and one for a term of five years ; subsequent annual elections to choose one member for a 'term of f i ve years.. j Section 2. 7.2 Powers and Duties. The powers and duties of such Board shall be such as are stated in General Lat,,is of. the Commonwealth and, in addition , shall consider and advise upon municipal improvements at the request of other town official's, departments, boards: or committees., or upon its own initiative . Section 2.7 Vacancies.. Vacancies occurring in the Board shall be f i l l ed as provided in General Laws , Chapter. 41 , Section 1 1 . Section 2. 7. 4 Public_ Hearings.
