Prior to acceptance of <br /> i <br /> any system, a service contract or a <br /> notarized affidavit must be presented <br /> to the Fire Chief verifying that the <br /> alarm system is bieng maintained on <br /> at least an annual basis. <br /> This maintenance service must be <br /> provided by the owner of the structure <br /> or structures in the case of an <br /> apartment ( s) building, hotel , mot.el , <br /> boarding house, etc . , or by an <br /> association foremen by a group of owners <br /> as in the case of condominiums. The <br /> builder of the condominiums shall <br /> include a clause in the deed so <br /> stating that the responsibility of <br /> the alarm system maintenance will be <br /> placed on the association . <br /> Therewill be a penalty fee of twenty- <br /> five dollars ($25) per day for each <br /> day of non-compliance of any part of <br /> the By-Law.
