SECTION 11 . D : TEMPORARY RESTRICTED AREAS <br /> 11 . D. 1 The town of Mashpee prohibits the approval or the <br /> creation of any new building lots , prohibits the <br /> issuance of any special permits for new construction <br /> and land development , and prohibits the Building <br /> Inspector from issuing any building permits , except <br /> permits for additions , alterations , accessory <br /> structures on single-family residential lots , one <br /> single-family residence for the owner of any lot on <br /> January 1 , 1987 who has not received a permit for a new <br /> residence in Mashpee during the previous 24 months and <br /> who has given written notice to the Building Inspector <br /> of his intention to reside on the premises , or other <br /> structures otherwise protected by Massachusetts statute <br /> in the areas described below and identified on a map on <br /> file with the Town Clerk entitled " ' Groundwater Pro- <br /> tection District , Town of Mashpee ' dated January 1987" . <br /> That map is hereby made a part of this bylaw. The <br /> following land boundaries , lot lines , property lines <br /> and roads constitute a more specific identification of <br /> the areas included in the above referenced map and have <br /> been taken from the Mashpee Assessors ' Maps known as <br /> " 1985 Mashpee Map Volume" unless otherwise indicated . <br /> These prohibitions are to continue from their effective <br /> date until August 1 , 1988 or such earlier date that the <br /> town , by Town Meeting vote elects to discontinue them <br /> on . any or all of the sites covered by this bylaw. <br /> Including all of the land within the following <br /> described lines . <br /> Beginning (sic ) at a point in the southerly sideline of <br /> Nathan Ellis Highway ( Route 151 ) at the <br /> Mashpee/Falmouth Town. Line as shown on the zoning map <br /> of the Town of Mashpee dated May 1985; <br /> Thence southeasterly along the Mashpee/Falmouth Town <br /> Line at a distance of 4750 feet more or less to the <br /> westerly bank of the Childs River; <br /> Thence easterly and southerly along the <br /> Mashpee/Falmouth Town Line at a distance of 6175 feet <br /> more or less to the westerly sideline of Falmouth Road <br /> ( Route 28) ; <br /> Thence northerly and westerly by the westerly sideline <br /> of Falmouth Road ( Route 28) at a distance of 6000 feet <br /> more or less to the southerly bound of the New Bedford <br /> Gas Company and Edison Light Company easement line at a <br /> 11 - 23 <br />
