Article 24. <br /> To see if the Town will vote to amend Chapter 112, Article I, of the Mashpee Town <br /> Code by amending 112-1, which currently states: <br /> "any board, officer, committee or department may deny any application for- or <br /> revoke or suspend any local license or permit, including renewals and <br /> transfers, for any person, corporation or business enterprise who has <br /> neglected or refused to pay any local taxes, fees, assessments; betterments or ' <br /> any other municipal charges." <br /> by adding the following new text to the end of the section: <br /> ...or with respect to,any activity, event or other matter which is subject of <br /> such license or permit and which activity, event or matter is carried out or <br /> exercised or is to be carried-out or exercised on or about any real estate <br /> whose owner has neglected or refused to pay any local taxes, fees, <br /> assessments, betterments or any other municipal charges." <br /> and fiuther to see if the Town will vote to amend 112-3 of Chapter 112 of the Town <br /> Code by deleting the first sentence of said section which states: <br /> "The licensing authority may deny, revoke or suspend any license or permit, <br /> including renewals and transfers, of any part whose name appears on said list <br /> furnished to the licensing authority from the Tax Collector; provided, <br /> however, that written notice is given to the parry and Tax Collector, as <br /> required by the applicable.provisions of law, and.said party is given a hearing, <br /> to be held not earlier than fourteen (14) days after said notice." <br /> and inserting in its place in 112-13 the following first sentence: <br /> "The Licensing authority may deny, revoke or suspend any license or permit, <br /> including renewals and transfers, of any party whose name appears on said <br /> list furnished to the licensing authority from the Tax Collector or with respect <br /> to any activity, event or other matter which is the subject of such license or <br /> permit and which activity, event or matter is carried out or exercised on or <br /> about real estate owned by any parry whose name appears on said list <br /> furnished to the licensing authority from the Tax Collector; provided, <br /> however, that written notice is given to the parry and the Tax Collector, as <br />
