Silvia, Main Street, Cotuit, Mass. to construct and operate a retail pet food and supply retail store on Route 130, Mashpee. DATE OF HEARING: 15 August 1974, 7:30 p.m., Mashpee Town Hall. Hicks FACTS: Petitioner has requested a Special Permit to construct a building on Route 130, to be used as a retail store for the sale of pet foods and pet supplies. Application is made under provisions set forth in paragraph E.1 of Section 6.3 Land Use Regulations. Land to be used is in C-2 zoned area. The petitioner has met or exceeds all of the require- ments as established in Mashpee Zoning By -Law under Section 7, Land Space Requirements and Section 8, Off Street Parking. The plan of proposed retail store is on file with the Board of Appeals and reflects an area of 3.2 acres of land; 294 foot frontage and depth of 400 to 600 feet. Set back and side lines of building will, in all instances, exceed the requirements set forth in Section 7. The Board has determined that the granting of special permit would be in the best interest of the community and would not be detrimental to the Town or the area by reason of excessive noise or demand on community facilities. DECISION:The Board herewith grants to Joseph J. Silvia, a Special Permit to construct a building on Route 130 to be used specifically as a retail sales store for pet foods and pet supplies in accordance with E.1 of Section 6.3. Conditions• (a) In the interest of public safety and traffic control, petitioner is required to insure maximum visibility at point of exit on Route 130. Above traffic control will be effected on or before date retail store is opened for business.
