TOWN OF MASHPEE <br /> BOARD OF APPEALS <br /> Re: Application for Special Permit submitted by Gregory Clark, <br /> d/b/a The Chop 'n Block, Route 130, Mashpee <br /> DECISION <br /> A petition was duly filed by the petitioner for a Special <br /> Permit under provisions of Section 6 . 3E9 Land Use Regulations of <br /> the zoning by-law. <br /> Notice was duly given to abutters and owners of land next <br /> adjoining the land of abutters . Notice was also given by public- <br /> ation in the Falmouth Enterprise, a newspaper of general circulation <br /> in the Town of Mashpee on 20 . May,1977 and 27 May, 1977 , a <br /> copy of such notice being appended hereto . <br /> A public hearing was held on the petition at the Mashpee Town <br /> Hall on Wednesday , June 1, 1977 at 7 : 30 PM, at which time the follow- <br /> ing members of the Board of Appeals were present : Michael <br /> Makunas, Chariman, Clara L. Keliinui, Vice Charimen, and Linda <br /> Edson Hendricks, Clerk. <br /> The petitioners ' property consists of land and building located <br /> on Route 130. Applicant was granted a Special Permit under <br /> Section 6. 3E1, Land Use Regulations on 20 Nov 76 to operate a <br /> retail sales business for sale of wood burning stoves . Storage <br /> and display of retail merchandise outside of building is restricted <br /> under above section of zoning by-law. Applicant wishes to expand <br /> the scope of his business to_include the retail sale of shrubs, <br /> bark mulch and other related nursery items which require storage <br />
