TOWN OF MASHPEE <br /> BOARD OF APPEALS <br /> DECISION <br /> Re : Petition of John B. Sweeney for a variance <br /> A petition was filed by John B. Sweeney for a Variance of Land <br /> Space Requirements, Section 7 . 1 for permission to erect a second <br /> dwelling on property at Jeep Place, (corner of Shore Drive) Mashpee, <br /> Massachusetts . <br /> Notice was duly given to abutters in accordance with Massachusetts <br /> General Laws , Chapter 40A as amended by Chapter 808 of the Acts of <br /> 1975• Notice was given by publication by publishing in the Falmouth <br /> Enterprise, a newspaper of general circulation in the Town of Mashpee <br /> on September 19, 1978 and September 29, 1978, a copy of which is <br /> attached hereto and made a part hereof. <br /> A public hearing was held on the petition at the Mashpee Town <br /> Hall on Wednesday, October 4, 1978 at 7 : 30 p .m. at which time the <br /> following members of the Board of Appeals were present and acting <br /> throughout : Robert J. Houle, Peter L. Langler, Raymond G. Sweeney. <br /> The Petitioner, John B. Sweeney, presented a sketch (not to <br /> scale) and indicated that he wished to move the present dwelling upon <br /> the lot to one side and construct a second dwelling upon the same <br /> lot . Proposed dimensions of the second dwelling were not shown, <br /> nor were either the proposed or present locations of well and septic <br /> systems . The Petitioner represented that the lot contained 15 ,700 <br /> square feet. <br />
