Clark of 12 Deerwood <br /> Drive, East Sandwich, Mass. for property located at Route 130, <br /> \ (Lots 10 and 11) Mashpee, Mass. <br /> FACTS <br /> On August 13, 1976, Mr. Gregory W. Clark of 12 Deerwood Drive, <br /> st Sandwich, Mass. , petitioned the Board -of.Appeals for a Special <br /> ,rmit of the Zoning By-Laws as pertains to Section 6.3, Land Use <br /> egulations. This Special Permit -requested would be for a retail store <br /> n a C-2 zoned. area. Mr. Clark' s property consists of Lots 10 and 11 <br /> ronting Route 130 and he is- 'requesting that the premises be used for <br /> retail fireplace-stove shop. <br /> The Public Hearing Notice was published in the Falmouth <br /> terprise, a newspaper of general publication in the area, on <br /> eptember 24 and October 1, 1976. <br /> Abutters and next to abutters were duly notified by mail. <br /> Public Hearing took place at the Mashpee Town Hall at 7:30 p.m. on <br /> ctober 13, 1976. <br /> Members of the Board of Appeals present were Linda Edson <br /> endricks, Acting Chairwoman; Clara L. Keliinui; and Robert J. Houle. <br /> r. Clark presented his case to the Board of Appeals, stating that he <br /> as requesting the Board to grant him a Special Permit for operating <br /> fireplace and equipment store -on Route 130 in a C-2 Zoned area. He <br /> elt that the Toon of Mashpee would benefit from this type of business., <br /> hereas the Town at this time did not have any business of this nature. <br /> DECISION <br /> There were no objections, either by the abutters or next to <br /> butters, and the Board of Appeals voted unanimously in favor of granting <br /> his Special Permit, feeling there would be benefit to the Town from this <br /> ype of business. <br /> CONDITIONS <br /> Petitioner is advised that customer arking spaces must conform <br /> to provisions as outlined in Section 8.4, one �1) space per 150 sq. ft. <br /> of building. A reasonable period of time, not to extend beyond December <br /> 31, 1976 is granted petitioner to complete land filling which will pro= <br /> vide area for the required parking spaces and maneuvering area. Until <br /> such parking area is completed, vehicle operators should be discouraged <br /> from backing onto Route 130.: . <br />
