i
OFFICE OF THE PRESIDEM
WHEEL TRUEING TOOL COMPANY
r'a67a%;N5RSTIe r-eaxeR,.ACFcaame22a
P.O. Box 1317, Columbia, S. C. 29202
April 25, 1977
Town Clerk of Mashpee
Mashpee
Massachusetts 02649
Dear Sir:
I own the property on Pond View Road described as 11408-26
Block 57, Lot 8. My neighbor toward the sound is a family by the
name of Dillis and I am writing you to again confirm my several
written and oral objections --- complete and total objections to
Dillis building his garage within four feet of the lot line.
This matter came up early last summer. I had several
correspondences with Dillis and in each and every case.told him
I would not want my view obstructed by his garage practically on
the lot line. I was 'not given adequate notice by your political
group in Mashpee but when I learned of his filing for variance I
called you and wrote you to the affect that I was unwilling to permit
this variance. I later heard rumor late in the summer that he was
planning to build a garage. I again called your Town Clerk to
object. He advised me that he would tell me if a re-application
were made by Dillis so that I could again register my objection.
Yesterday, a neighbor was down from Boston and informed me
that Dillis had built his damn garage within four feet of the lot
line.
I demand an explanation and your advice as to how to proceed
to takeits s garage down within my rights as a property owner in
your community.
Mosincerely,
ohm J. G lvin
/ksd I/
