MA 02649 <br /> RE: Petition of Cape Cod Sons of Italy Case #iSP-84-5-018 <br /> A petition was filed by Cape Cod Sons of Italy of Mashpee Massachusetts <br /> for a Special Permit for permission to oeprate a Carnival on property <br /> located on Route 28, Mashpee, Massachusetts. <br /> Notice was duly given to abutters in accordance with Massachusetts <br /> General Laws Chapter 40A: Notice was given by publication in the <br /> Falmouth Enterprise, a newspaper of general circulation in the Town of <br /> Mashpee on April 17, 1984 and April 24, 1984 a copy of which is attached <br /> hereto and made a part hereof. <br /> A public hearing was held on the petition at the Mashpee Town Hall <br /> on Wednesday, May 2, 1984 at 7:30 p.m. at which time the following members <br /> of the Board of Appeals were present and acting throughout: Michael <br /> Makunas, Manuel Costa and Virginia Landry. <br /> Ms. Holly Gaglia explained to the Board that the Sons of Italy would <br /> like to operate a Carnival behind the Flea Market on June 28,29,30 and <br /> July 1 for the building and charity fund. She also stated it would be <br /> the Sam Pino Amusement Company and the hours of operation would be <br /> 11 a.m. to 11 p.m. <br />
