Jackson for Variance Case #V-84-6-27 <br /> A Petition was filed by Glen R. Jackson of Weston Massachusetts <br /> for a Variance for permission to vary the minimum sideline require- <br /> ment on property located at 90 Mizzenmast, Little Neck Bay, Mashpee, <br /> Massachusetts. <br /> Notice was duly given to abutters in accordance with Massach- <br /> usetts General Laws Chapter 40A. Notice was given by publication <br /> in the Falmouth Enterprise, a newspaper of general circulation in <br /> the Town of Mashpee on May 22 & May 29, 1984 a copy of which is <br /> attached hereto and made a part hereof. <br /> A public hearing was held on the petition at the Mashpee <br /> Town Hall-on Wednesday, August 1, 1984 at-7:30 p.m, at which time <br /> the following members°of the Board of Appeals were present and act- <br /> ing throughout: Manuel Costa, Michael Makunas and William Hanrahan. <br /> The Board felt they could not grant the Variance for these <br /> reasons: Mr. Jackson bought the property with the hardship (the <br /> property was purchased with the deck in place and Mr. Jackson <br /> should have known the requirements of the Zoning By-laws. ) This <br /> request degregates form the intentions and purpose of the By-law. <br /> 1 <br />
