TOWN OF MASHPEE <br /> BOARD OF APPEALS <br /> a TOWN HALL, MASHPEE, MASSACHUSETTS 02649 <br /> DECISION <br /> RE: Petition of Anthony A. Bexley and Janice E. Ford for a Special <br /> Permit Case #SP-85-05-021 <br /> A petition was filed by Anthony A. Bexley and Janice E. Ford of <br /> Hyannis, Massachusetts for a Special Permit for permission to operate <br /> a real estate office on property located s/s Route 130 - 4001 east <br /> of Central Road, Mashpee, Massachusetts. <br /> Notice was duly given to abutters in accordance with Massach- <br /> usetts General Laws Chapter'40A-. Notice was given by publication <br /> in the Falmouth Enterprise, a newspaper of general circulation in <br /> the Town of Mashpee on April 24, 1985 and May 1, 1985 a copy of <br /> which is attached hereto and made a part hereof. <br /> A public hearing was held on the petition at the Mashpee Town <br /> Hall on Wednesday, May 8, 1985 at 700 p.m. at which time the <br /> following members of the Board of Appeals were present and acting <br /> throughouts Michael Makunas, William Hanrahan and Cheryl Hawver. <br /> At the hearing on the 8th of May, the Board requested that <br /> this should be seen by the Design Review Committee and they should <br /> make recommendations to the Board. <br /> On June 12, 1985 the Board received recommendations from the <br /> Design Review Committee which are as followsi Approved with the <br /> following conditionst Sign - take building nimber off the sign - <br /> drop listing of services and phone number - hang on wood posts and <br /> set back 25 feet - typeface similar to New Seabury's letterhead. <br /> In addition the brick planter is to be filled with flowers and weeds <br /> are to be removed around signpost. <br /> r <br />
