`f <br /> TOWN OF MASHPEE <br /> BOARD OF APPEALS <br /> TOWN HALL, MASHPEE, MASSACHUSETTS 02649 <br /> DECISION <br /> REi Petition of Gallery II Furniture for a Special Permit Case <br /> #SP-85-05-025 <br /> A petition was filed by Gallery II Furniture for a Special <br /> Permit for permission to operate a retail furniture sales business <br /> on property located on Route 28, Deer Crossing, Mashpee, Massach- <br /> usetts. <br /> Notice was duly given to abutters in accordance with Massach- <br /> usetts General Laws Chapter 40A. Notice was given by publication <br /> in the Falmouth Enterprise, a newspaper of general circulation in <br /> the Town of Mashpee on May 8, 1985 and May 15, 1985, a copy of <br /> which is attached, hereto and made a part hereof. <br /> A public hearing was held on the petition at the Mashpee Town <br /> Hall on Wednesday, May, 22, 1985, at 7l 30 p.m. at which time the <br /> following members of the Board of Appeals were present and acting <br /> throughouti Manuel Costa, Michael Makunas and William Hanrahan. <br /> Bill Peters president of Peters Hartel Furniture Corp, repres- <br /> ented this application. He explained they would like to open a <br /> . branch of the Gallery II Furniture which they own and is now in <br /> Bourne. Space had become available on the lower level and this is <br /> where they wish to locate the store rather than the upper level. <br /> They would occupy about 1200 square feet. The furniture would change <br /> with the seasons and they would not display furniture outside. <br />
