TOWN OF MASHPEE <br /> BOARD OF APPEALS <br /> TOWN HALL, MASHPEE, MASSACHUSETTS 02649 <br /> • • DECISION <br /> RE: Petition of Mary & Patricia Benway for a Special Permit Case <br /> #Sp-87-02-018 <br /> A Petition was filed by Mary & Patricia Benway of Mashpee, Mass- <br /> achusetts for a Special Permit for permission to construct a Ramp, <br /> Pier, Float and Dock in a R-3M Zoning District on property located <br /> on lot 62, on the west side of Monomoscoy Island, Monomoscoy Road, <br /> Mashpee, Massachusetts. <br /> Notice was duly given to abutters in accordance with Massachu- <br /> setts General Laws Chapter 40A. Notice was given by publication in <br /> the Falmouth Enterprise, a newspaper of general circulation in the <br /> Town of Mashpee on February 11 & 18, 1987, a copy of which is attached <br /> hereto and made a part hereof. <br /> A public hearing was held on the petition at the Mashpee Town <br /> Hall on Wednesday, February 25, 1987 at 7:30 p.m. at which time the <br /> following members of the Board of Appeals were present and acting <br /> throughout: William Hanrahan, Michael Makunas and Cheryl Hawver. <br /> Comments were received from the Mashpee Shellfish Commission <br /> expressing their concern with the public access to shellfishing in <br /> the area however, the Board ascertained that shellfish in this par- <br /> ticular area are minimal. There were no comments or recommendations <br /> received from the Mashpee Conservation Commission. <br />
