l ' <br /> TOWN OF MASHPEE <br /> BOARD OF APPEALS <br /> TOWN HALL, MASHPEE, MASSACHUSETTS 02649 <br /> 1� DECISION <br /> RE: Petition of John Sullivan for a Variance Case #V-87-02-019 <br /> A Petition was filed by John Sullivan of Mashpee, Massachusetts <br /> for a Variance for permission to enter within the 100 foot zoning set- <br /> back requirement of Mashpee River in a R-3M Zoning District on pro- <br /> perty located on 15 Redwood Circle, ,Mashpee Shores, Mashpee, Mass- <br /> achusetts. <br /> Notice was duly given to abutters in accordance with Massachu- <br /> setts General Laws Chapter 40A. Notice was given by publication in <br /> the Falmouth Enterprise, a'newspaperof general circulation in the <br /> Town of Mashpee on February 11 & 18, 1987, a copy of which is at- <br /> tached hereto and made a part hereof. <br /> A public hearing was held on the petition at the Mashpee Town <br /> Hall on Wednesday, February 25, 1987 at 7:30 p.m. at which time the <br /> following members of the Board of Appeals were present and acting <br /> throughout: William Hanrahan, Michael Makunas and Cheryl Hawver. <br /> Concerns were voiced from the Conservation Commission officer <br /> present in regards to the steep sloping grade, marginal lot size and <br /> the environmental impact from drainage and sewage run-off into Mashpee <br /> River. Opposition was voiced from abutters present. The Board was <br /> informed the applicant would require an additional Variance from the <br /> wetland body. The Board found the plans presented to be inadequate. <br />
