TOWN OF MASHPEE <br /> BOARD OF APPEALS <br /> TOWN HALL, MASHPEE, MASSACHUSETTS 02649 <br /> rqg cp- <br /> DECISION <br /> RE: Petition of Leon Montgomery for a Variance Case <br /> #V-87-01-010 <br /> A Petition was filed by Leon Montgomery of Mashpee, <br /> Massachusetts for a Variance for permission to vary the lot <br /> frontage requirements in a R-3M Zoning District on property <br /> located on lot 17 Quaker Run Road, Mashpee, Massachusetts . <br /> Notice was duly given to abutters in accordance with <br /> Massachusetts General Laws Chapter 40A. Notice was given <br /> by publication in the Falmouth Enterprise, a newspaper of <br /> general circulation in the Town of Mashpee on January 14 & <br /> 21, 1987, a copy of which is attached hereto and made a part <br /> hereof. <br /> A public hearing was held on the petition at the Mashpee <br /> Town Hall on Wednesday, January 28, 1987 at 7:30 p.m. at <br /> which time the following members of the Board of Appeals <br /> were present and acting throughout : William Hanrahan, Michael <br /> Makunas and Cheryl Hawver. <br /> Thru information received the Board established the error <br /> in the placing of the foundation to be an engineering error. <br /> Questions were raised from abutters present as to the consist- <br /> ency of the engineering errors in the area, however the Board <br /> did convey to abutters present that the hardship was not self- <br /> imposed by the petitioner. <br />
