TOWN OF MASHPEE <br /> BOARD OF APPEALS <br /> & TOWN HALL, MASHPEE, MASSACHUSETTS 02649 <br /> DECISION <br /> RE': Petition of Fields Point Corporation for a Variance Case <br /> #V-86-10-090 <br /> A Petition was filed by Fields Point Corporation of <br /> Mashpee, Massachusetts for a Variance for permission to modify <br /> the parking space ordinance in a C-1 Zoning District on pro- <br /> perty located on Route 28 & Route 151, Mashpee, Massachusetts . <br /> Notice was duly given to abutters in accordance with <br /> Massachusetts General Laws Chapter 40A. Notice was given by <br /> publication in the Falmouth Enterprise, a newspaper of general <br /> circulation in the Town of Mashpee on October 8 & 15, 1986, a <br /> copy of which is attached hereto and made a part hereof. <br /> A public hearing was held on the petition at the Mashpee <br /> Town Hall on Wednesday, October 22, 1986 at 7 :30 p:.m. at which <br /> time the following members of the Board of Apppeals were pre- <br /> sent and acting throughout : William Hanrahan, Michael Makunas <br /> and Cheryl Hawuer. <br /> It was established that given the nature of this shopping <br /> center and the fact that buildings within a shopping center do <br /> not all face in one single direction, the Board was in agree- <br /> ance that it would not be feasible to plan this development <br /> in such a way that parking would be provided only behind or <br /> to the side of buildings .
