TOWN OF MASHPEE <br /> BOARD OF APPEALS <br /> TOWN HALL, MASHPEE, MASSACHUSETTS 02649 <br /> DECISION <br /> RE: Petition of Robert & Shirley Bruneau for a Variance Case <br /> #V-87-01-009 <br /> A Petition was filed by Robert and Shirley Bruneau of <br /> Mashpee Massachusetts for a Variance for permission to vary <br /> the lot frontage requirements in a R-3M Zoning District on <br /> property located on Route 130, Mashpee, Massachusetts . <br /> Notice was duly given to abutters in accordance with <br /> Massachusetts General Laws Chapter 40A. Notice was given by <br /> publication in the Falmouth Enterprise, a newspaper of gen- <br /> eral circulation in the Town of Mashpee on January 14 & 21, <br /> 1987, a copy of which is attached hereto and made a part <br /> hereof. <br /> A public hearing was held on the petition at the Mashpee <br /> Town Hall on Wednesday, January 28, 1987 at 7 :30 p.m. at which <br /> time the following members of the Board of Appeals were pre- <br /> sent and acting throughout : William Hanrahan, Michael Makunas <br /> and Cheryl Hawver. <br /> The Board was informed that when the land was surveyed <br /> an engineering error was made and without the petitioners <br /> knowledge, the two lots were combined. <br /> The Board reached the following Finding of Facts : <br /> 1. ) The Board established that due to an engineering <br /> error the hardship was not self-imposed <br /> 2. ) Granting of the Variance was found not to be a <br /> detriment to the neighborhood. <br />
