TOWN OF MASHPEE <br /> BOARD OF APPEALS <br /> TOWN HALL, MASHPEE, MASSACHUSETTS 02649 <br /> DECISION <br /> RE: Petition of Peter J. Bilodeau for a Special Permit Case #SP-87-02-013 <br /> A Petition was filed by Peter J. Bilodeau of Mashpee, Massachusetts <br /> for a Special Permit for permission to construct timber steps to a Pier, <br /> Ramp, and Float in a R-3 Zoning District on property located on Lot 18, <br /> Ockway Bay Road, Mashpee, Massachusetts. <br /> Notice was duly given to abutters in accordance with Massachusetts <br /> General Laws Chapter 40A. Notice was given by publication in the Falmouth <br /> Enterprise, a newspaper of general circulation in the Town of Mashpee on <br /> January 28 & February 4, 1987, a copy of which is attached hereto and made <br /> a part hereof. <br /> A public hearing was held on the petition at the Mahspee Town Hall <br /> on Wednesday, February 11, 1987 at 7:30 p.m. at which time the following <br /> members of the Board of Appeals were present and acting throughout: <br /> William Hanrahan, Michael Makunas and Thomas Sexton. <br /> Information was received that the dock will extend a distance of <br /> 40 feet from mean low water. The Board received no opposition from the <br /> Mashpee Planning Board. Recommendations were received from the Mashpee <br /> Conservation Commission however the Board ascertained this project would <br /> be in harmony with the general purpose and intent of the By-Law. The <br /> Board found this project would not be a navigational hazard to the water- <br /> ways. <br />
