Eugene Stillman of Mashpee, Massachusetts for a Special Permit for permission to construct and maintain a wood pier, ramp and float in a R-3 Zoning District on property located on 255 Popponesset Island Road, Mashpee, Massachusetts. Notice was duly given to abutters in accordance with Massachusetts Gen- eral Laws Chapter 4OA. Notice was given by publication in the Falmouth Enter- prise, a newspaper of general circulation in the Town of Mashpee on August 26 & September 2, 1987, a copy of which -is attached hereto and made a part hereof. A public hearing was held on the petition at the Mashpee Town Hall on Wednesday, September 9, 1987 at 7:30 p.m. at which time the following members of the Board of Appeals were present and acting throughout: William Hanrahan, Michael Makunas and Edward Govoni. The Board was informed the pier will rise to an elevation of five feet along the marshland. The pier, ramp and float will extend 45 feet. Comments were received from the Mashpee Conservation Commission. Upon motion duly made and seconded the Board of Appeals voted unanimously on September 9, 1987 to grant the Special Permit as requested with the stipula- tion that this applicant comply with all "Orders of Conditions" setforth by the Mashpee Conservation Commission.
