Notice was given by publication in the Falmouth
Enterprise, a newspaper of general circulation in the Town of Mashpee on
August 26 & September 2, 1987, a copy of which is attached hereto and made
a part hereof.
A public hearing was held on the petition at the Mashpee Town Hall on
Wednesday, September 9, 1987 at 7:30 p.m. at which time the following members
of the Board of Appeals were present and acting throughout: William Hanrahan,
Michael Makunas and Edward Govoni.
Recommendations were received by the Mashpee Conservation and Shellfish
Commissions. Through information received the Board learned that once
approval from the Board of Health has been obtained for the lot it would be
rendered buildable. The reduction of the floats was based largely on reports
from the Conservation and Shellfish Commissions. The Board was informed the
proposed boathouse has been eliminated.
