MA 02649 <br /> DECISION <br /> RE: Petition of Cape Maid Farms for a Special Permit Case #SP-87-09-092 <br /> A Petition was filed by Cape Maid Farms of Mashpee, Massachusetts for <br /> a Special Permit for permission to operate a business for the sale of pet <br /> foods, supplies, bird seed, feed and grain and for pemrission to exceed the <br /> signage requirements of 20 square feet in a C-2 Zoning District on property <br /> located on the corner of Route 151 and Old Brickyard Road, Mashpee, Massachusetts. <br /> Notice was duly given to abutters in accordance with Massachusetts General <br /> Laws Chapter 40A. Notice was given by publication in the Falmouth Enterprise, <br /> a newspaper of general circulation in the Town of Mashpee on September 9 & 16, <br /> 1987, a copy of which is attached hereto and made a part hereof. <br /> A public hearing was held on the petition at the Mashpee Town Hall on <br /> Wednesday, September 23, 1987 at 7:30 p.m. at which time the following members <br /> of the Board of Appeals were present and acting throughout: William Hanrahan, <br /> Manuel Costa and Michael Makunas. <br /> The Applicant informed the Board that plans for the signage have been <br /> revised and are now within the permitted by-law regulations of the Town. <br /> h Information was received that all items for sale will be sold on a retail <br /> basis. The Board wasirformed that a maximum of six people will be employed <br /> at one time at the place of business. <br /> Upon motion duly made and seconded the Board of Appeals voted unanimously <br /> on September 23, 1987 to grant the Special Permit as requested. This Special <br /> Permit shall be referenced to plans on file. <br />
