Crane Appliances for a Special Permit Case #SP-87-10-099 <br /> A Petition was filed by R.D. Crane Appliances of Mashpee, Massachusetts <br /> for a Special Permit for permission to operate a major rental store, office, <br /> warehouse and showroom in a I-1 Zoning District on property located on lot <br /> #18 Industrial Drive, unit #108, (map 88, parcel 2) , Mashpee, Massachusetts. <br /> Notice was duly given to abutters in accordance with Massachusetts <br /> General Laws Chapter 40A. Notice was given by publication in the Falmouth <br /> Enterprise, a newspaper of general circulation in the Town of Mashpee on <br /> September 30 & October 7, 1987, a copy of which is attached hereto and made <br /> a part hereof. <br /> A public hearing was held on the petition at the Mashpee Town Hall on <br /> Wednesday, October 14, 1987 at 7:30 p.m. at which time the following members <br /> of the Board of Appeals were present and acting throughout: Michael Makunas, <br /> Cheryl Hawver and Edward Govoni. <br /> Council , representing the Applicant, informed the Board that unit #108 <br /> • <br /> will be utilized as a rent-to-own business. The Board was informed the <br /> equipment will have a minimum lease of one month not to exceed eighteen <br /> months. No retail sales activity will take place on the premises. Informa- <br /> tion was provided that sales on rental goods will be held twice yearly. <br />
