MA 02649 <br /> DECISION <br /> RE: Petition of Paul Mikus for a Special Permit Case #SP-87-10-098 <br /> A Petition was filed by Paul Mikus of Mashpee, Massachusetts for a <br /> Special Permit for permission--to construct and maintain a pier, ramp & float <br /> in a R-3 Zoning District on property located on lot 252 Popponesset Island <br /> Road, (map 112, parcel 15) , Mashpee, Massachusetts. <br /> Notice was duly given to abutters in accordance with Massachusetts <br /> General Laws Chapter 40A. Notice was given by publication in the Falmouth <br /> Enterprise, a newspaper of general circulation in the Town of Mashpee on <br /> September 30 & October 7, 1987, a copy of which is attached hereto and made <br /> a part hereof. <br /> A public hearing was held on the petition at the Mashpee Town Hall on <br /> Wednesday, October 14, 1987 at 7:30 p.m. at which time the following members <br /> of the Board of Appeals were present and acting throughout: Michael Makunas, <br /> Cheryl Hawver and Edward Govoni . <br /> Through information received the Board learned the length of the pro- <br /> posed ramp to the existing floats is 58 feet. The Mashpee Shellfish Commission <br /> states no opposition to this dock proposal. <br /> Upon motion duly made and seconded the Board of Appeals voted unanimously <br /> on October 14, 1987 to grant the Special Permit as requested with the stip- <br /> ulation this applicant comply with all "Orders of Conditions" setforth by the <br /> Mashpee Conservation Commission. <br />
