Felger, M.D. for a Special Permit Case #SP-87-06-061 <br /> A Petition was filed by Harry P. Felger, M.D. of Mashpee, Massachusetts <br /> for a Special Permit for permission to construct and maintain a pier, ramp <br /> and float in a R-3 Zoning District on property located on lot 18 Tide Run <br /> Road, (map 120, parcel 187) , Mashpee, Massachusetts. <br /> Notice was duly given to abutters in accordance with Massachusetts General <br /> Laws Chapter 40A. Notice was given by publication in the Falmouth Enterprise, <br /> a newspaper of general circulation in the Town of Mashpee on October 14, & 21 , <br /> 1987, a copy, of which is attached hereto and made a part hereof. <br /> A public hearing was held on the petition at the Mashpee Town Hall on <br /> Wednesday, October 28, 1987 at 7:30 p.m. at which itme the following members <br /> ' of the Board of Appeals were present and acting throughout: Manuel Costa, <br /> Michael Makunas and Edward Govoni . <br /> Through information received the Board determined that the structure <br /> will not interfere with the free passage or travel by water as the proposed <br /> pier will extend only thirty-eight feet from the marsh edge. In addition, <br /> the structure will not interfere with persons traveling by land nor will the <br /> pier disrupt nor marine coastal environment. The Board was in- <br /> formed that the Massachusetts Department of Environmental Quality Engineering <br /> has made specific findings that there will be no derogation to the coastal <br /> environment. Recommendations were received by the Mashpee Conservation <br /> Commission and Planning Board. <br />
