Janedy for a Variance Case #V-87-12-122
A Petition was filed by Ambrose J. Janedy of Malden, Massachusetts
for a Variance for permission to vary the front setback requirements in
a R-3 Zoning District on property located on Captains Row, Mashpee Neck
Road, (map 90, parcel 53) , Mashpee, Massachusetts.
Notice was duly given to abutters in accordance with Massachusetts
General Laws Chapter 40A. Notice was given by publication in the Falmouth
Enterprise, a newspaper of general circulation in the Town of Mashpee on
November 25 & December 2, 1987, a copy of which is attached hereto and
made a part hereof.
A public hearing was held on the petition at the Mashpee Town Hall
on Wednesday, December 9, 1987 at 7:30 p.m. at which time the following
members of the Board of Appeals were present and acting throughout:
William Hanrahan, Michael Makunas and Edward Govoni .
Through information received the Board ascertained that due to the
topography of the lot and the location of the leaching field, there is
no alternative location in which to place the dwelling.
Upon motion duly made and seconded the Board of Appeals voted unani-
mously on December 9, 1987 to grant the 16 foot front setback Variance as
requested.
